Jaipur Full Day Sightseeing Tour

Duration: 1 Day
Pickup & Drop: Hotel / Railway Station / Airport – Jaipur
Tour Type: Private guided sightseeing (customisable)

Morning: Welcome to the Pink City!

Your day begins bright and early as your driver and guide greet you with a warm Rajasthani “Namaste!” at your hotel. After a quick briefing about the day’s plan, we set out to explore the royal capital of Rajasthan – Jaipur, a city that beautifully blends regal history with vibrant modern life.

1. Amber Fort (Amer Fort)

Our first stop is the majestic Amber Fort, perched atop a hill overlooking Maota Lake. The fort’s grand architecture of red sandstone and marble tells tales of the Rajput kings. Walk through the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwan-e-Aam, and Ganesh Pol, and soak in the panoramic views of the Aravalli hills.

Optional: Enjoy an elephant or jeep ride up to the fort gate for a royal experience.

2. Jal Mahal (Water Palace)

On your way back to the city, pause at the enchanting Jal Mahal, the “Palace on Water.” Floating gracefully in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, it’s a favorite spot for photos — especially with the hills in the background. Although visitors aren’t allowed inside, the view from the promenade is simply magical.

3. Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)

Next, we head to the heart of the city for Jaipur’s most iconic landmark – Hawa Mahal. This five-storied pink façade, with its 953 intricately carved windows, was built for royal ladies to watch street festivities without being seen. Stand before it, and you’ll feel as if the city itself is whispering stories from centuries past.

4. City Palace

A short drive brings you to the City Palace, still home to the royal family of Jaipur. Explore its courtyards, museums, and galleries displaying royal costumes, weapons, and miniature paintings. Don’t miss the stunning Peacock Gate, an Instagram favorite!

Lunch Break

Time to relax and enjoy authentic Rajasthani cuisine at a local restaurant. Try dishes like Dal Baati Churma, Gatte ki Sabzi, or Laal Maas if you’re feeling adventurous!

5. Jantar Mantar (Royal Observatory)

After lunch, visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, it houses 19 astronomical instruments, including the world’s largest stone sundial — proof of Jaipur’s scientific brilliance centuries ago.

6. Albert Hall Museum & Birla Temple

If time allows, head towards Albert Hall Museum, Jaipur’s oldest museum showcasing centuries of art and artifacts. Nearby is the gleaming white Birla Temple, a serene modern temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi — a peaceful way to end your sightseeing day.

7. Jaipur Local Bazaar

Before heading back, explore Jaipur’s colorful markets — Johari Bazaar, Tripolia Bazaar, or Bapu Bazaar. Pick up souvenirs like gemstone jewelry, blue pottery, Mojari shoes, or vibrant textiles. The bustling lanes and friendly shopkeepers make shopping here an experience in itself.

Evening Drop

As the sun sets and Jaipur glows in warm amber hues, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel with beautiful memories and photos of a day well spent in Rajasthan’s royal capital.
